That's color matching or theming, not color coding. Color coding is when you relay information via use of colors, for example by giving certain damage types in a video game their own colors.

It does piss me off that we can't return to beige yet. I've got a beige keyboard, but I couldn't get my mouse in beige, and you can't get monitors in beige either.

Black is fucking gay, and I'm tired of people acting like it isn't. The only thing gayer is RGB.

95% chance this setup belongs to a youtuber who makes the same video 200 times in a row but each one features a different sponsored item they shill, there are tons of channels doing it nowadays
every new video has a chink mouse or mechanical keyboard they pretend is good for ten minutes before going back to whatever they actually use

Normally it's not the White Plastic/Paint that yellows first now. It's the LEDs because the blue leds are the first to weaken which ironically makes white appear more yellow.

i feel like black is too default to be tryhard gay and is probably just boring or lazy. If you gave a tech-illiterate 50 yr old $1000 bucks and told them to assemble a cheap pc setup, they'd inadvertently get all black.
Beige and grey are too retro coded. Something you'd see on a control panel for a power plant that was built in the 70s, or sitting on a 2000s wooden computer desk with a fat monitor. Would be cool to see come back in force though

With popularity of streaming and NAS solutions, nobody's plopping full size HDDs into their PCs directly.

Yeah, it looks like I got my case right around the time they started removing 5.25 bays from everything, the refresh model removes them. I'm not against it, because who the fuck uses 5.25 bays? I barely had a use for DVDs 15 years ago, I think the last thing I used one for was burning 360 isos.

>>715950785
5.25 bays aren't for HDDs, dude. Or are you saying these shitty companies are ripping out the 3.5 slots too? I just looked into it, looks like they're shoving 3.5 slots into the PSU bay now to keep them away from the oversized graphics cards, and scamming you by only giving you an extra slot when you have room for 3-4 in the case? That's some fag shit, but it might just be this garbage case I'm looking at. 3 3.5/2.5 bays in 2025 is a bad joke.

>>715950989
They're fake faggot shit, it's like those motherboards with molded gun parts on them for the pro cawadoody gamer, only these are aimed at muh retro enthusiasts. It's an embarrassment, I wouldn't want a reminder of floppy drives on a modern PC. They were awful.

3.5" HDDs are relegated to NAS use for the most part. Even 2.5" slots for consumer SATA SSDs are becoming a thing of the past with M.2 drive popularity.

I'd like to have some airflow over them, so that's not really ideal.

>3.5" HDDs are relegated to NAS use for the most part.
I still have 14TB drives in my main rig. I can never be bothered with NAS, seems like too much money to spend on something you can just keep in your PC and power cycle. I like having sacrificial 2.5 drives for heavy wear shit like browser caches to keep my M2 drives in decent condition, because 2.5 is cheap and M2 is more limited than SATA on motherboards. PCIe M2 expansions are still comically expensive vs just running more SATA cables.

If it's proper leather (there are about 80 grades of fake leather and almost everything is made out of them instead), then sure, it might last if you keep it clean.

After using office chairs for 15 years, I switched to an Aeron over 12 years ago and I'll never look back. Mesh is objectively superior by every metric to foam.

When you sit slouched or hunched over for long periods of time, it puts more stress on your lumbar spine or lower back, leading to muscle strain, fatigue, and ultimately, the ever-dreaded lower back-pain. The best solution for this on your chair is a lumbar pillow, which are cleverly designed to support your lower back and assist with pain relief. Such support is proven to help ease tension, relax your muscles, and improve your posture. Using a lumbar pillow is usually a cinch, but there are a few tricks to ensure you get everlasting comfort out of yours.

The pillow at the top is a cervical pillow, which is for neck support.

As you know, your spine is naturally curving into the form of an S-shape.
