>>715956010It already is. Look how long it's been on market and the only card that succeeds it is the 5090 which costs considerably more (especially if you don't buy the garbage new FE with its awful PCB design) and barely improves performance. The 1080 Ti lasted me from March 2017 all the way to my 4090 in October 2022. The 4090 would have easily lasted as long if not longer if some piece of shit didn't steal it when I was RMAing it. I was forced to buy another GPU and had to get the shitty 5090. Experiencing how busted this card is compared to my old 4090 is just salt in the wound.
>no CUDA 33 bit support so not only no PhysX in old games I still enjoy, but no CUDA effects in some games too like the ocean logic in Just Cause 2>DXVK broken in 32 bit games as well, they straight up crash >no hot spot temperature sensor because reasons >Anisotropic filtering from the driver is completely broken in many titles leaving the game artifacting and you're stuck with only in game options which are often lacking compared to the forced driver AFIt's a steaming pile of shit that will not age gracefully at all and I'm sure the 6090 will destroy it, probably bring new real features to the table too.
Fuck man I just want my 4090 back. I fantasize about tracking down the fucker who stole it and going Law Abiding Citizen on his ass.
