ITT: Weapons you always use in any game you can
Pic related. Chainsaws are either completely useless or completely busted but always feel good

Bolt action rifles and revolvers. They pretty much always have really good damage and accuracy.

What game has the best chainsaws? I think Gears of War still is unbeaten after 15 years

Dooms chainsaw has a very satisfying stun when you lock onto an enemy.
Gears is great of course.
Dead Rising is a good contender.
Quake 3 is decent, nobody uses it but those few times you got a HUMILIATION against a mate were awesome.

Shotguns. Bonus points if you can dismember or gib an enemy with a point blank shot.

I rike sword, that's a personal weapon.

Fire.

Rapiers.
I like the elegance they often have compared to other, bigger weapons.

I liked prince ricard's rapier in dark souls. I don't think it was very good, but it was very stylish.
