Looks like the remake has destroyed the cultural impact of original sh2. People used to talk A LOT about this game for the last decade, until remake dropped and it's just completely forgotten as a whole. Why did that happen? Is it because more realism left so little space for imagination and theorycrafting?

SH2 is totally erased from collective memory. I don't see those 6 hour video essays about sh2 anymore, which was a thing every week before remake got released.
