It's really the ultimate challenge in the D&D realm. There is nothing else out there. No other game, definitely not the newest release, and no other Baldurs Gate 2 mod either. SCS simply doesn't cut it if you are looking for a challenge.

RTWP is not "tactical" to begin with, also D&D is turn based.

There's nothing you can't do in RTWP that you can do in turn based.
Turn based is for the mentally slow people who can't process more than 1 action at a time.
