If DS2 wins, it will be undeserved. I found it a thoroughly unenjoyable game compared to the first one. Yes, there are system improvements, yes the game looks stunning. No, the gameplay hasn't improved much, and yes the terrain is much more of a bitch to traverse without resorting to crutches.
The storytelling took a hard nose dive, where the game keeps you in the dark until, like, the very last two-three hours. Untill then I was playing the game thinking ''why am I doing this shit again??'' and it kept me in a bad mood, consciously and later unconsciously.
Furthermore it's a bit too cocksure of itself which annoyed as well, where the characters and actors pretend like they have made this wonderful product (yes, this sense of smugness oozes in the actual game) and they are patting themselves on the back for it while sucking kojimer's dick.
And I didn't appreciate that he was redoing MGS4's finale but with more Friendship Is Magic-elements involved. I genuinely did not like the game when I finished it.
