What a snoozefest. Holy shit. I'm no stranger to slow games being a big fan of the Final Fantasy and Persona series, but everything about this. The story, characters and gameplay are boring and slow. I've tried 3 times and never even get close to finishing it.

Just play the first, it's better in every way besides anyway

RDR2 has got to be the biggest filter of the 2010s

I came in expecting spaghetti western and got HBO period drama. Not a bad game but pretty disappointing

>filter your audience by making as boring of a game as possible
Why is Rockstar like this?

it's not for everyone :) you don't have to like it

I also thought it was boring but I found out I enjoyed playing it high. I do not enjoy video games while I’m high unless they’re casual or rail shooters. Especially anything that requires using my brain and thinking. But this game apparently doesn’t require using your brain and thinking. Same with the GTA games, these rockstar open world games are best played high. I think that’s they’re so successful, because most people are low IQ and retarded. By being high I’m lowering my IQ to the level needed to enjoy playing these shitty games

Yeah I was expecting cowboy GTA but it was a slow moving open world cinematic crawl right from the start. Just trying to loot all the containers in a two story house took like five minutes with all the stupid animations you can't skip. A game is a game to me, not a pretend world to try and immerse yourself into which seems to be what a lot of people get out of this game.

It's one of the best games ever made and an achievement.
Consider that you're broken in some way inside

Ignore the cringe story and just play it as an late-19th century outlaw/outdoorsman simulator. There's a certain point in the main story where you have enough unlocked that if you save all the side content up until that point you easily have 30 hours of gameplay

Its a shame the first story had the same themes but wasn't a ham-fisted mess
It was also lighter hearted and a lot grittier

I mostly enjoyed hunting and exploring. That was fun but I tried to replay it and yea the tutorial just saps your will.

The gameplay is atrocious, why would I want to do any of that?

If you think characters like Arthur Morgan or Dutch van der Linde are "boring" compared to Final Fantasy's or Persona's shitty melodramatic shonen garbage, then you're a mentally ill manchild
