I think this game should be used as an example for how "quality of life" -features are bad.
There's no friction to be found in this game. You just go and smash your way through. Sure it's well made technically but that's not enough to make it engaging.

The impression I get is that it'd be a solid 8.5/10 as a $60 game but $70 drops it down to about 7.5/10, and that anyone either praising it as Nintendo's "best game in years" or condemning it as a disaster is just trying to get a rise out of people.

Also, the color design in the game is HIDEOUS.

Because it's a game for little children.

People say that about Mario Kart but then overlook that you'll always find challenge by playing online.

Haven't put any points into hearts because of how easy it has been so far. Only got the new moves. When is this supposed to get hard enough to be engaging?

Anyone saying this is odyssey tier difficulty have not played the whole game
I'm on sublayer 10 and the last few levels have been reasonably difficult, at least harder than galaxy. I had to get more hearts because you actually do take damage.
Also heals are fairly scarce, checkpoints and collectibles do not heal you like in odyssey
