How can you tell me after a year ago when I heard and saw in person the plans for the future of the game when I left that media tour optimistic about the future of the game (In spite of my ex fiance using this as an opportunity to once again crush my heart/soul the night before the actual event lol). I literally got no sleep that night and spent the night/morning crying in the hotel room before I went downstairs for the bus with the rest of the media tour group.

Actually fuck it no one will read this deep. That media tour left me so optimistic it helped me with the mental beatings and outright abuse my ex fiance did to me.

You know that bitch, Brendan, drove all the way from the townhouse filled with tens of thousands of dollars of my property he's stolen from me to this day all the way to L.A. and hunted me down like I was a fucking animal? And then when I flew back to Canada between airports he lashed out at me again and caused me in an airport to break down crying? After THAT BITCH hunted me down like I was some kind of animal.

Yeah FFXIV and the optimism for FFXIV I had from that media tour helped me push forward. That's how optimistic I was.
And for anyone who hasn't been cheated on, had tens of thousands of dollars of property, had their work auth in the USA lost and them sent back to Canada unable to move to San Diego after landing a 220k/year job and needing to decline that cause "lul work auth", and then experienced mental abuse from their ex fiance tormenting them with the most VICIOUS shit ever-- THAT IS A FUCK TON OF OPTIMISM. And I wouldn't wish the absolute BARRAGE of brutality I experienced on anyone else.

I only say that PURELY to showcase how optimistic I Was about FFXIV after the media tour. AKA: VERY VERY VERY MUCH.

So how the fuck are we a year later talking about development costs? How the fuck? What the fuck? That's my genuine reaction.

i know how you feel. i had a bitch wife and a bitch daughter who was already taking after her mother (a budding nagging and controlling personality she inherited from mom, she was 4 by the time of the divorce). in my case the divorce was a good thing, FFXIV was what got me through most of that evil woman and child's shit. maybe i would've left sooner if i didn't have FFXIV to turn to, both a blessing and a curse i suppose. i lovedmy daughter when she was born but once she started getting that evil look in her eye i stopped seeing her a my own flesh and blood. i can't get out of paying child support, but what i can do is look at it as a much more expensive monthly membership to my favorite game FFXIV (since now i have the premium benefit of playing it much more without evil women trying to drive me to suicide).

I'm not familiar with JPN views on spleen in terms of the chance that she takes the spot. Likewise erenville and spleen both joining us feels a little dense, but they will likely do with Erenville the Estinian thing of traveling the world before joining on later (maybe). Whereas spleen is more liable to be now or never.

I think it makes perfect sense that real Sphene join the Wol and the Scions because she doesn't belong in Tural or even in Solution 9. She's a girl out of touch so she's basically a Nomad.
There couldn't be a more perfect person to join the Scions than her, she has no lasting ties to the land plus she's popular and her VA is excellent.

Glad I stopped after Endwalker. Graphics updates are relatively easy to "invest" in since they don't the planning an overarching story, zone creation, or cinematic creation needs. XIV could instantly fix the game if NG+ was an actual real game mode that reset the game state (for whatever Job you start it on) and made it so you could go through the MSQ and all the Side Quests/Dungeon Quests again but at a higher difficulty level.
