AI, while it is still presently shit at coding, could help bug-fixing and basic mechanics or UI stuff which doesn't need to be fine tuned.

AI-generated small assets for things like bullet shells, non-important background items, some animation tweaks will also be used.
However these will mostly just be slightly better stock items, so won't change much.

Some games will opt to have AI chatbots in them, so you can directly talk to characters. But I think most games will avoid that to prevent shit from getting weird.
This last one is the biggest potential change

Musk is smart to capitalize on the weebcore scene and run with an anime girl face for the AI, since right now I'd say much more than AGI all the AI companies are trying to jockey to lock people in by habit. Think how once you get your habitual browsing of 4chan, reddit, facebook whatever you are more likely to never leave that. I mean I've found that I just use chatGPT when I need an "AI". It's not that I objectively think it's better than grok or gemini or whatever meta (lol) has it's just that was the one I developed a habit into using.

So 2024-2026 is the prime time to get your captive audience before another AI brand does, and that's something that'll help Grok distinguish itself.
