Yeah but by the time you're regularly fighting Mechanoids you'll have good equipment and stronger pawns, deleting early game raids with CE shotguns makes the game objectively easier to complete.

The only reliable way to down mechanoids easily is Pulse Rifles with EMP ammo, which is endgame stuff, and the game is going to throw a lot of mechanoids at you before you get to that point, They also have crazy accuracy and very lethal shots.
Deleting tribals and animals easier than normal doesn't cancel out the rest of the combat encounters the game throws at you.

He's right, but for the wrong reasons, CE makes the game easier because vanilla accuracy is fucked and benefits quality over quantity when it comes to attackers, and raiders will always be better in that regard
