True, but there's a couple of competing factors as to why. I don't doubt they really wanted to hit all those goals, but in the end whoever invested in the company get to pull the trigger on releases in order to start seeing an ROI. It's a shame cause I don't really care if it takes 5 years or 15 - just make the best game. But that's not realistic. Games have to make money or the company goes down.
2077 2.0 is a pretty fun game. I hope they really get it right for Project Orion (Cyberpunk 2), but based on the current info I'm not certain they will.

Absolutely. It's something like "you only got 2 weeks to live", and sure, V might get through the main story in 2 weeks but the relationship with Johnny Silverhand would've barely existed if it was only 2 weeks.

I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you're playing on easy or normal difficulty.
For some reason the devs tied enemy awareness, aggression, and abilities to the difficulty setting.
So if you want a the big muscle enemies charge jumping towards you with shotguns and hackers installing malware into your body while basic mobs lob emp grenades at you then you've got to play on the hardest difficulty, anything less and most enemies just stand still doing nothing.

Game is excellent on the first playthrough, but mid on the second playthrough and beyond with diminishing returns.

That said, 2.3 finally made photo mode usable and not full of cringe weeb poses, I found a brand new outlet for enjoying this game and is the sole reason why I’m continuing my second playthrough.

The game is alright but it falls significantly short of its full potential and most critically it also falls short of what they appeared to be promoting and what they said it would be like before release. The hype before it came out was insane and the game that actually released wasn't just super broken and buggy on a technical level but failed to live up to what they were describing in terms of RPG depth, atmosphere and world interactivity too. The disappointment was as massive as the insane hype and I guess some people never came around to it after that.

The game's alright, especially after all the bug fixing and patching it got, taken in a vacuum it's a perfectly fine game, fun to play through once, but it's still far short of what was promised.

My biggest complaint is the lack of gun variety and how putting attachments and mods made very little difference
If you use guns you end up going Tech because of how OP the Tech charged shot is and the perks make it even better.
Why are "Smart" guns too ammo intensive and miss, why does the Power guns ability activate only have a chance per bullet when Tech guns ability is guaranteed as long as you charge it?
Throwing toxin knives is the most fun I've had so far, RED really outdid themselves making a decent stealth game

The game was really buggy at launch. Also the reason it was bad, because it was hyped up to be the next real real real rpg. Then people kinda went nuts because the origin is always the same, you can‘t access certain places etc etc.

For me personally it was a really great game with a really good main story. Great artdesign. But game felt really messy honestly, like it tried too much to be gta. Hopefully they will tone that down with the sequel and connect the anime better into the game.

I finished the game 2day took 55h did all the quests and side quests and most of the gigs. Did a netrunner build with smartweapons. n it was better than expected. V talks like a retard and the tone keeps changing which is annoying. Whoever did Songbird and idris elba did a really good job.

Took the ending where johnny lives on.

One issue: mem leaks requiring restart of the game every 2h when using rt or menus will lag like shit.

Also the blackwall quickhack you only get after finishing the dlc. But then youre already done with the game.

finished my first playthrough and the game just made me feel weirdly alone. There's something about its world, it LOOKS realistic but there's a very fake feeling while actually running around in it. I think it's the NPCs, if you observe them and the world for 10 seconds you quickly see it's a lifeless charade - nothing happens unless I personally make it happen. It reminds me of that film were the guy realises he's on a TV show and his whole life has been fake.

It's an 8.5/10 imo. Looks nice, combat is fun, story/lore is fine, but the city/npcs feeling so lifeless really sticks out and hampered my enjoyment of its open world.

It's hard to describe, they're window dressing, not actual NPCs. Go speeding down the verge of the highway and the cars move out of your way. The pedestrians are more like a hazard to check your aim/grenades, and if you fuck up they spawn cops.
Like you say, it's fake, but at the same time I do like the world. It's very beautiful.

What I do fucking hate though is the awful anti-aliasing they used. It ghosts like a motherfucker and it gets distracting in certain lighting.

It's possible to glitch full nudity with the outfits, but I don't know exactly how it happens. All I know is I removed clothes on outfit 5 and left the outfit nude, and it's now removed the underwear too.
