Yes. It'll be 2026+ when it releases and Japan has been poisoned. Having a character refusing the idea of being a man and accepting that she's her actual gender is problematic. They already censored the trans joke in the P3 remake.
It's an easy character arc to change though.

Kanji's dungeon 100% will be changed however, given it's literally just gay stereotyping. I don't think they'll make him gay though, just that he's afraid of everyone perceiving him as a wimp.

I am sometimes really curious what goes through the minds of those who are borderline aggressive in their desire to have certain characters see themselves as having a different gender or act a certain, despite the said characters having the storylines of not caving in to the demands or vision of others.
