Felt like this X have rode the wave of the Switch 2, but Nintendo let it flounder on Switch 1. Reminds me of how they buried Golden Sun 3 and the entire franchise on the dying DS rather than bringing it over to the 3DS where it probably could have flourished.

What the fuck are you smoking? No it didn't. The only differences graphically are that it has worse lighting and the character models changed.
I stopped playing at Chapter 7 because I was CERTAIN the Switch 2 patch would be out by now, but noooooooo Nintendo would rather you play BOTW again wooow.
I have put 275+ hours into X and I'm still only in chapter 10 and now I keep getting distracted by other games even though it's one of my favorites ever and I love every second I'm playing it
When is it getting a switch 2 patch?

I have mixed feelings about Chapter 13. I really enjoyed Voltaires, I really hated Al, and the new ending is OK but not as good as the OG ending

3 sprayed diarrhea over every other Xenoblade’s own story and themes because Takahashi himself is unable to let go of some autistic RPG meganarrative idea he had a quarter of a century ago. It’s kind of incredible.

X2 on the new planet. New custom MC but the game will detect your X save file and your Cross will be an optional boss with the same broken stats and equipment.

I would not be surprised if they never do any more updates. Fuck you, only first party games get the upgrades because we're nintendo. Prime 4 and I thinknarms are literally the only non-first party games to have upgrades right?

Any third party can do upgrades. The new Rune Factory has a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition with upgrades, so does Fantasy Life i, Tamagotchi, Sonic CrossWorlds will have it and more. Not that you know what you're talking about if you think Xenoblade or Metroid Prime aren't first party.

the updates aren't the same as the paid switch 2 editions. the paid ones come with new content, the updates just make use of the increased specs

They're made by studios under nintendo, not nintendo itself. That's how much of an ego nintendo has that anything without their specific name on it doesn't exist to them.

Zelda BotW/TotK: connectivity to the Zelda Notes phone app
Super Mario Party Jamboree: new modes with their own minigames using the camera
Kirby and the Forgotten Land: a whole expansion with new levels
Metroid Prime 4: mouse controls
Pokémon Legends ZA: not yet known
Loved the first half of the game. After the world lost it's lustre and I just fast travelled everywhere. Doesn't help most of the quest are just fetch or kill quests.

In terns of hardware yeah, the issue is the emulator itself.
Older switch games are mostly fine but when it comes to post-yuzu death stuff you have to find the right fork AND the right driver.
When it comes to Xenoblade X, I found satisfying results with Eden + MrPurple666 turnip 25.1.0.
You have to play around with the settings for a bit tho

Surprisingly enough Xenoblade X worked perfectly on Ryujinx fork since day 1. I guess the game is very similar to previous games in terms of how it works.
