Hey /v/, was wondering if Majora's Mask on 3DS is good enough to play for my first experience. I remember watching this Youtube video that seemed to hate it, but I'm not sure if it's worth listening to. I also hate N64 emulation because of the controller.

They fucked up the Zora swimming, redesigned the boss fights for no discernible reason, and did a pretty poor job of preserving the aesthetic of the original compared to OoT 3D.
I would consider it a pretty shit way to experience it for the first time. You can also just play the unofficial PC port instead of emulating (2ship2harkinian).

For the record if you're playing a PC version of Majora's Mask the Recomp is the way to go. It does everything 2S2H does and has actual mod support so you can use stuff like Nerrel's texture pack or the better song of double time from MM3D
