The Stallone movie is unironically way better despite him never having his helmet on. The ton and depiction of the world is largely spot-on.
Dredd doing ASMR while walking through boring concrete hallways for 90 minutes is something I'll never understand the appeal of. Also the casting of some frumpy jewess as Anderson was terrible.

Dredd vs Death is honestly pretty good, it nails the goofy tone of the comics which the first movie kind of did but casting Stallone ruined it.
The second movie was way too serious and didn't have enough fantasy elements. In the comics Dredd fights a dinosaur in hell and goes into whirlpools that send him back in time as well as fighting interdimensional evil spirits.
