There are two major problems with this board:

1. The "buy an ad" posters

2. The "slop" posters

There's likely nothing that can be done about 1 since they are probably a robot made by the site itself to drive up ad sales.

But last time a word, like s o y, got spammed nonstop in every thread, it got word filtered to onions. It should happen to slop too. What word should auto replace it this time?

The trailer makes it seem like all you do is chop down trees, talk to npcs, and upgrade your chopping ability to chop down better trees.
That looks like the whole game. Guess that might be why it's only 3 dollars.

It seems like a really weird project that I didn't even know the developer was making until it released.

Claire a la Mode, which looks "ok" but not the direction I was expecting from a sequel to Curse Crackers.
and then Howling Crown, which doesn't even have a Steam page and I suspect is in dev hell because it's too big because they've never made an RPG before.

Generals always have been a bad idea since their inception. IB software is not made for persistent threads. Just go to reddit or a forum if you want to circle jerk.

Generals are a normal phenomenon, I don't like the autism drama that happens in them but the generals exist nonetheless because people participate and make them. No wonder there's no board culture anymore when only a few threads at any given time are different from the same trite transient trash that tarnishes the board, when about a third of it is bait, another percentage is porn and the rest archive without much communication because the posters are drawn between all the different threads. Do the newfags that visit /v/ see ancient recurring threads of videogames that sound interesting, with their own tiny communities? No, those generally happen on a weekly basis now and there's few of them, so they're very easy to overlook. They just see the flood of shit and think this is how the romans do, so they might as well do it too.
