No, she doesn't. Even ignoring the higher polygon count, Eidos Lara has a sharper face and has more stylized features that result in a more comic book-esque appearance. It's intentional beyond even the polycount because it's consistent across all her concept art. Meanwhile, LAU Lara goes for a softer, more "realistic" look that just ends up looking retarded because without the comic book stylization to help suspend disbelief for this sexy action chick she just looks like a dolled-up hollywood actress. Shit's retarded.

Toby Gard did one good thing and that was designing Lara back circa '94. He didn't work on Tomb Raider 2, he didn't work on Tomb Raider 3, he didn't work on The Last Revelation, he didn't work on Chronicles and he didn't work on Angel of Darkness. Hell, when it comes to LAU he didn't even work on Anniversary, he was credited as "story consultant" ie the actual devs asked him a question here or there

The second remaster is just for the ultra fans desu. TR4 might be fine if you want a game only in Egypt, but TR5 is boring and short, and AoD is still pretty jank even with a lot of fixes.
