Why in the forsaken year 2025 we still have games that don't download in background and have a looping music video that can't be paused?

Yeah which is how im playing but it really irks me not being able to paypiggy a little bit.
Another thing that pisses me off is that you MUST have vpn at ALL times while playing, you instantly get disconnected as soon as it turns off
