If only Blizzard gave extremist versions of every race, among which was a Horde faction that was essentially pre-WarCraft III Horde where the player could join as a alternative, then a lot of people would've been satisfied if they didn't like the one with Thrall in charge.

Agreed. I miss it when Night Elves were essentially Wood Elves on steroids that out-savaged the Orcs.

Even the WCIII Orcs still were hardcore fighters. Not to mention The Alliance still had some guts in them. WoW is a tragedy that befell the setting.
