Petitions have no teeth. Change.org accomplishes nothing unless a politician had already decided they were going to do thing and wanted something to point at as support for thing. SKG has teeth because it is an initiative backed by the government with the signatures being a condition to see it through.

Something that you can do instead of petitioning is to call your congressman and suggest supporting the bills for clamping down on payment processors.
