How many times have you played it?

Once on PS2 like 15 years ago. Made it to the last level.
Once on PC like 5 years ago. Modded it nice, played the first level for 30 minutes.

A couple of times. I honestly preferred System Shock 2 in terms of Immersive Sims.

Elon's woke ass put it as his X profile picture. It left a sour taste in my mouth so its been in my library, never played.

Heavy weapons muderhobo. Use a mod to fix the plasma damage, spec into heavy weapons and combat and carry all 3.
You'll have to drop one for a while in hong kong for the dragon's tooth but you can drop that once you're done with the questline and go back to being a tank.

Once. Will probably play it again. It's a good game but not an absolute favorite of mine that I'd replay frequently.

Dropped after few levels. Stealth is boring

Remember to grab a mod that fixes plasma. Most overhaul mods fix it.
It's supposed to do 5 times the damage it does in vanilla GOTY version since it uses multiplayer-adjusted damage in singleplayer, making it useless. Originally it's supposed to be a BFG.
Also the reason why Walton Simons is such a pathetic boss, he's supposed to instakill you with plasma.

>start out mostly nonlethal, and judge how much my character would think they deserve to live and use that to gauge how much i should avoid having to shoot them

Intravenous is really good for that
