>games with "path tracing" injected in with AI generated texture/normal map detail
>Shit looks so fucking fake.
Some of these are actually photogrammetry scanned in or hand crafted, but yes some are generated

>gay tracing showcaases only work on 20 year old games because only games that old get over 14 fps without having to use dlss ultra perf ray reconstructed ai lame and gay guesstimation slop
>just fuck off with this shit
In the games that have had updated assets it doesn't matter that the game is old. The entire render pipeline is replaced with dxvk-remix and newer assets essentially just making that part of the game new just with the same gameplay.

>is this piracy?
No, you still need the original game and specifically I don't know ask NVIDIA they're hosting this competition.

>wouldnt sega and EA , etc make more money by selling their own version of this?
They could maybe but whether it would be profitable to put people on this depends.

Just any card NVIDIA, AMD or Intel that supports Raytracing is fine.

Isn't that a good thing that they're able to so closely mimic the quality of ue5 without having to use Unreal Engine?

Has to be the most convoluted way to produce lighting in games. It's like doing water effects by simulating thousands of particles
