interviews made it pretty clear that there seems to be some sort of resentment from the OG FFT team for Square doing War of the Lions without them, which is why the Ivalice Chronicles remaster won't have it in any form in the Japanese version (and only use its translation for the English "classic" version since the og psx version's translation was a bit fucked up)

If you must play with the WotL script, this is the way to do it.
I personally prefer the "The Lion War" mod for all the same content, just the PSX script. Even the WotL exclusive content is in the style of the original translation.

I'm legitimately interested in hearing the new Enhanced version script, since they're apparently redoing the script to sound better when spoken aloud, per their interviews
Also adding dialogue that was originally cut in the OG version (more in-battle character dialogue back-and-forth similar to what we see in Tactics Ogre where it makes sense)

You use a turbo controller to auto attack an infinite respawn enemy map. You set your units where the spawns occur and infinitely farm gold. Then you get that ticket to use the merchant to buy stat boosts. Now you have Godmode wyvern and Griffin front lines with whatever in the backline (liches and angels and whatever). GG. I don't think it's ever explained, then again FFT takes place several centuries after FFXII so anything may have happened.
Extra autistic take: FFT is basically Alazlam reading Olan's notes about the Lions War and Alazlam lives in the present day, probably centuries after FFT. Maybe there are still beast races in FFT-day Ivalice but Alazlam is none the wiser and imagines everyone to be a human. Still, this doesn't explain why beast races don't exist in Alazlam's time.

Where can I get this, and is it compatible with epsxe? I hate PSX because it's finicky and unintuitive as hell, and doesn't save the configuration upon closing the program. It's annoying as hell.

A lot of people have the misconception that FFT, Vagrant Story and FF12 were somehow intended to be a shared world from the beginning when FFT was never written with that in mind and VS only references FFT at best. Only FF12 started trying to retroactively frame them as part of a connected world. This is why Viera and Bangaa are completely absent in FFT and VS because they were only conceived of in FF Tactics Advance which came out later.
