You know when you die you just merge with yourself in another dimsension, right? Their experiences are 99% yours in a world that is 99% yours so it just feels like waking up from a bad dream. You have all probably died at least once.

as you get older time seems to pass much faster, it's something to do with how many years you've lived and that changing how you view the passage of a day or week or something..

time is an illusion anon
time doesn't move, things move through times
because energy exists there is action. Because there is action there is cause and effect; events.
The universe is actually just one massive chain reaction of cause and effect, and once that chain unwinds, time will cease to be, and so will the universe itself.
A fair reminder that I'm not going to see your butthurt outbursts because I have a majority of the cat pictures spammed here filtered so you're wasting your time.

We mark the passage of time by unique events and change. When every day is exactly the same, time just sort of compresses like an accordion. It's why time seems so much longer and fuller when you're young, there's a new milestone or experience around every corner, every year the cast of characters totally changes. By the time you're 40, what's different than it was when you were 30? It's been twenty years instead of ten since you last spoke to her? And then eventually you just die.

tell me again how it's supposed to be a "parasite"? seems more like a symbiote to me

covid really fucked everyone's perception of time
2020s is so shit it wants to blur itself out, 2010s felt like it lasted an eternity and that decade was shit as well

You joke but that's literally how it works. The parasite hijacks part of your brain to suppress fear responses, especially toward cats, because reproducing in a cat gut is its endgame. So yeah, suddenly wanting to befriend every stray tabby you see might not be you turning into a "cat person"-it might be brain malware steering the wheel. Nature's coding is f**ked, man.
