Zach Cregger's Resident Evil adaptation is shooting in a few months. Will it carve out a space of its own, or will it be forever overshadowed by Paul W.S. Anderson's post-modern masterpiece RE: Retribution?

Resident Evil can be so much. It can be basic bitch zombie horror, zombie action, bioterrorism techno thriller, etc. It just depends what era he wants to pull from. Although I will always be partial to spooky police station.
