This game has amazing environments. It feels so good to explore, playing predator and fighting for your survival. The story isn't as awful as people make it out to be and honestly it was a given Joel would face the consequences of things he did in 1.
Only truly cringe moment was the synagogue segment since it was extremely on the nose.
Overall a pretty good game with amazing art direction.

Strange, isn't it? Its always the same 3 threads popping up at the same times...how odd...even though the site infamously shits on it, with a choking edit literally shown in the TLOU2 documentary to go "LOOK HOW THEY HARASSED US"

I tend to find good things in games and not immediately jump on the hate bandwagon.

I unironically liked the revenge cycle story as well and I hate Israel and cuckman. I believe Naughty dog overall has an extremely good team and people overstate the importance of game directors t b f

I mean, any line of dialogue that seriously uses the word "bigot" without a hint of irony or sarcasm is infinitely cringe. So it's not just the synagogue moment.

Yeah, discussing this game is hard since people can't really form their own opinion anymore. Everything is either woke or not nowadays without any place for nuance. It's exhausting.
Game director's should be kept where they belong not on red carpets.

That's fine, the game has "redeemable" qualities, but something that is specifically, literally tailored to purposefully elicit hatred and anger is not worth talking about seriously at all. Its not hard to make someone angry.

You are not special for liking something that's telling you you're not supposed to like it. The game appeals to that group of people. 2 has nothing worth discussing.

I just cant take Abby having a tranny sidekick in a post-apocalyptic universe setting seriously. Hillcrest with Ellie was ludokino however.
