You know I always thought this was overblown, but after overlaying and comparing I can see it more clearly. It does seem like they widened her chin and neck a bit, and the ears seem to be set angled out from the head slightly more. It's not as severe as it is in the meme images, but still seems like they did try to make Aloy's face its own thing separate from the model (and probably shouldn't have).
