the only problem with him is his backstory. it was set up to be really good, with his coal town's economy going to shit because of the reactor, but in the end they turned shinra into cartoon villains and had them slaughter the town when something broke at the plant down the road. with a little more thought, this could have been a 10/10 scenario.

One random thing I have been thinking about. This isn't retarded idpol shit even if it includes sadly a bit of that. I'm a leftist so let's get that out of the way.
I think that one of the biggest problem in western vidya industry when it comes to desigining diverse casts, is the fear of making diverse girls "overly sexual". It's a problem overall of course with female characters, but black women especially suffers from it a fuckton. I understand the worry with more left-leaning devs and character designers to not make women to be seen as "objects of desire", but in all honesty I think making sexy characters that can be objectified is a good thing. I don't necessarily want to pull out the annoying "they are hypocrites because male characters are made sexy! Look at those muscles!" because that is funnily enough more appealing to gay men if anything, but the true part is more the charm/personality/voice of male chatacters that can be easily argued to be hella unrealistic standards.

If western devs made more sexier/cuter/appealing/actuallyfunny black female characters, they would be liked a fuckton and actually be good for general view on other skin colors etc.
Doesn't mean you have to make them with huge boobs in revealing clothing, but if you look at fightan games, they have fuckton of black characters people like.
Like everyone wanted to fuck Pharah from OW as well. And don't be afraid to go wild, imagine a cute black girl with attire and attitude of ZZZ's Nicole Demara. Like you would have white guys in line to try and find black findom gf at that point.

This is honestly one of the biggest !!! the more you think about it. The heads of the studios are always white or some small mixture in USA but still white or very white-looking. It is nice that the people there are sympathetic for wanting to be "fair and safe", but is it much better to swap from white man who gives no thought to it to a white woman who has some kind of savior complex and barely takes any feedback from black communities? Like I hate that just writing that gives kneejerk reaction to many and gets me accused of being things I'm not. I watch lots of political Youtubers and some black ones, F.D Signifier is very eye opening and it really makes me think even when I don't necessarily share all of his views. But dude got real points.
