Based 7/10 enjoyer. Honestly, it's the kinda game that feels solid but never quite hits legendary status. You play it, you nod approvingly, then forget it existed three months later.

I hope they update it for Switch 2. It’s stuck at 720p. It looks fine for most things but a tad blurry and text isn’t crisp

Biased, I freaking loved it after a years long gaming slump for me. Perfect don't use guides game if there ever was one.
It's old-school gaming back on the menu. Exploring as it's meant to be feels. Yes, feels.

Its barely known and barely documented so its cool for the "guide-less" experience. graphics feel jarring at first but it gets better

its really just a game that started super simple and basic that ended up having really large scope and a big world with lots of cool shit and secret hunting

Rain World has an amazing world map that is actually living with a kino ecosystem, but its not metroid-like at all. though it is very nonlinear

nine sols is not as good but its cool, its arguably better if you like generic sekiro-"inspired" deflects a lot
>im not picky about the depth of combat and nonlinearity and stuff, just give me a cool world with cool stuff
perhaps blasphemous. Ori is very different but its cool, the games are individually short though so play both together for a decently lengthy game

I actually played Blasphemous and refunded it because of the terrible fast travel system. HK got it right with eventually upgrading your dream nail later on to allow for even quicker fast travel. Backtracking gets old after a while, you have to give the player a way to trivialize it after a certain point.

massively overhyped. it’s pretty to look at but the combat and traversal are very basic and the map is too fucking big. 7/10 is very fair
