At first, I thought the gameplay with the weapons was really bad, but I realized that part of it was due to their level. After the second day of the beta, my perception of the gameplay improved infinitely. I have some concerns about wipes and the progression being insanely fast, but I think that was just for the beta.
I think there’s room for improvement with the skins, but not to the point of exaggeration or turning it into a joke, like how Hunt Showdown added a rapper skin.

it's an extraction shooter. If you don't love or learn to love the tension of losing all your shit you're probably not going to have a great time, but something that interests me about this game is that they have finals-esque gadgets which makes me wonder if you'll have more outplay potential outside of just blasting people with higher tiered shields and guns

Not OP, but I played the beta so:
>5 teams of 4
>You pick your character and which ship you want before matchmaking
>Get dropped into a procedurally generated map with a bunch of ruins full of AI enemies to clear out for loot to upgrade your ship(weapons, systems, etc.)
>Goal is to either find an 'Artifact' that's somewhere on the map and extract with it through the exit or just be the last team standing
>Get rid of enemy teams through ship to ship warfare, can board other teams' ships to steal/sabotage shit
