Depends on what you mean by wrong.
I'd argue that he has a false constructed ideal of what it means to "grow up", and that ultimately all of his arguments are based on a presupposition that the continuance of the human race is, in each discrete case, a necessary choice to make over the individual's desires, not to mention the societal forces and individual irreconcilable flaws that make such a path virtually impossible for those same men sitting in their mother's basement.

Video games bother the establishment for several reasons.
1. As a business, video games do not reward simple nepotism and crony capitalism. A nerd in his garage can make the next blockbuster, while your team of 500 humans and 1,500 Indians that is costing you a small fortune every day is a risk you have to take for the next eight years with no guarantee that your investment will pay off.

3. Video games have a technical side that needs to work. You can't use your influence to dominate gaming culture with industrialized trash. You can take music, literature, and cinema down to the most atrocious level possible and still push your products with marketing, but if your video game is atrocious, it just won't work. No one buys tools that don't work, no matter how much you spend on psychological techniques. This makes it difficult for evil elements to enter the industry.

There is no incentive in doing so.
