Did you have more fun with Astro Bot or DK Bananza?

For me, Astro Bot was a 9.5/10, DK Bananza is a 6/10

Both suck for different reasons:
AstroBot is forced soul

every level in astrobot was a delight. dk has that nintendo difficulty curve which takes way too long to get started.

Bananza is clearly bigger and better. Astro was great it just feels too much like a big advertisement for PS. Hopefully in the next game Astro can get some characters and worlds unique to itself.

I think Astro Bot is better. Galaxy 1 and 2 are my favorite 3D Mario games because they're more linear and mission based. I still like DK Bananza a lot but I have Open World fatigue.

Astro is a mediocre platformer with a veneer of nostalgia bait. It really just made me wish Sony kept making all the games that appeared as cameos

Shitposting aside, I'm a huge donkey kong fan but preferred Astro Bot more. It felt more like a platformer. Bananza felt like an adventure game where you punch stuff and solve challenges rather than a dedicated platformer, and I prefer the platforming aspects of games more

I passed on a chance to buy bloodborne for $10 on craigslist, and ps4 for $80. I figured, ehhh, it'll get emulated. I wasn't underestimating the autism and perseverance of the fromsoft fans, because that's what their games of choice teach lol. I previously bought a ps3 just for demon's souls, which probably wasn't worth, but at least I got to hack it and fuck around with ps3hen.
