Story is cute and enjoyable. Soundtrack is out of this world good. Gameplay is unique and really makes you feel like the things he's paying homage to. A rare mecha game where you feel like a mecha doing cool shit especially during loop 2. There's 3 points in the game where I got absolute goosbumps from how perfect the soundtrack was. First was the map where you fight dozens of small ships, sink the space fleet then get eaten by a giant skeleton. Second was loop 2 on the sunset map and third was during the final boss. This game is absolutely kino for any shump fan and honestly even people who just like mecha. It leading into void stranger lorewise is a nice cherry ontop of an already good game.
