Are fantasy lives real? Are they really worth pursuing? At some point once we reach a certain age won’t we look back at our pathological vidya fantasy escapism as analogous to a lifelong drug addiction? Is it possible to walk away from vidya forever? To reintegrate back into reality? Is it even worth it to do so? Normies don’t seem very happy either, but then again any normies I know are other social media addicts so I guess they wouldn’t really be considered normie healthy well adjusted. Is it possible to unplug from the internet? I wonder what such a life is like. I wonder what the people out there that don’t use social technology are like. Is it possible to go back to life without social media? But then again before social technology people got addicted to alcohol and opium.
