I just tried that controller today at a store and confirmed the issue with the dpad detecting inputs on a different button if you're pressing towards it (like pressing the top of the side buttons does an up press)
but it's weird, I played bananza and in that game you can open the skill menu with up and photo mode with down, pressing the side buttons in the up and down edges didn't trigger either menu, however, in the skill menu, pressing the sides in different up and down edges did constituently trigger up and down inputs
I'm not sure if it's meant to be like that, does anyone know more about this?

The only difference is some more QA after the fact.
The controllers are still made from cheap components, such as the drift-prone sticks being used instead of hall effect or TMR.
>Bootleg shit
The Switch 2 pro controller is just a bootleg Switch pro controller, which is just a bootleg 360 controller, which is just a bootleg Dreamcast controller, which actually has hall effect sticks.

fuck modern xbox, I don't remember having that issue with the 360 controller that I had for almost a decade before one of the sticks got fucked beyond repair

The issue wasn't the controller, which is fine all things considered (although using a wireless controller in a situation where latency matters is retarded). The problem was they built the ship out of carbon nanotubes, which has a tendency to get more stiff and brittle as you put more pressure on it (which is horrible in an environment like the bottom of the ocean, which is very pressure heavy).

They tested this submarine multiple times before and the hull of the ship was going to give in at some point. The engineers that designed it told him to use a metal like titanium or steel for the hull to be stable, but the captain and CEO of that company was a fucking retard and just fired them. Now he and 4 other people are dead, just because he was a brainless dumbass that thought he knew more than the engineers.

When 360 controllers were phased out and MS went to femboy hand size controllers instead of actual man size, I went on a journey to find something decent. Razer Wolverine 1st edition was good, 8bitdo was good, but I ended up with a DualSense now that it's not all fucky on PC and I love it. I won't go back.

its not low standards ill explain how its the best, the pro 1 feels mushy on purpose for button mashing games compared to say the ultimate 2c wukong edition i got right, i then looked at both and come to the conclusion its both of these controllers put together, hall effect sticks from 2c merged with more accurate normal sticks from pro aka tmr sticks no drift either, top r4l4 which can be remapped like 2c taken from 2c also to pro3, hall effect triggers for more accuracy and never breaking, charging dock, dongle from 2c now for pro3, swappable buttons for emulation and switch or PC use of games, swappable sticks dont know if i would use it but looks interesting, back pedals return, i cant fault this controller and i cant see a better one for 60 bucks its actually insane

>>716211580
so you can use it on a switch, emulation or PC as they have different button layouts so you dont get confused

dont lie anon dont you sometimes go oh its a nintendo game when swapping between multiple games on PC when emulating and not emulating? i do, i dont need to swap buttons but i can see this helping people out there, could even be people out there who just use this on switch or emulating nintendo games exclusively

>>716211856
yeah but id choose this over the dualsense any day that thing breaks very easily and feels like shit after a while its the pros and cons you have to weigh out here and the pro3 just dwarfs the dualsense

Yes, they are kino. I have all of them except the Genesis one because it feels like they didn't go all in. Like each Nintendo controller shows up as a unique icon and changes the sound effects of each NSO software that you pair it with but the Genesis one just shows up as a generic controller.
