You are mixing different gachas. You have the idle gachas which are raising sims plus playable gacha (genshin, wuthering, arknights etc)
Gachas also have rpg and VN elements plus the "weekly" anime appeal. By the time Zelda totk 2 or whatever releases people would have played like 4 different arcs in genshin.
For platforms you also have a lot of options on pc, plus free online which is why online in PC is always alive.
Normal games are still being made, gacha didn't replace shit, you are just barking at it for no reason

I just did. Never had a nintendo before, I bought Switch 2 and am playing Mario Kart for a month now while waiting for Splatoon 3 delivery. Really refreshing after all the f2p slop I used to play for the past 5 years or so. Reminds me of times I played Gears of War 3 and Halo Reach online. It is really fucking liberating to launch the game not to do dailies for some sort of useless "rewards" and 3 different in-game currencies, but when I actually want to play the game.
