This is such a stupid thing I hear over and over again. Yes, Unilever is a major multinational conglomerate. They own dozens of brands of which two happen to be Dove and Ben & Jerry's. These subsidiaries operate independently. It's not some grand conspiracy to sell fucking ice cream to women. Unilever also owns other feminine hygiene companies that push heavily for traditional beauty standards.

This is the actual anon. I use Walmart's Equate Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for both hair and body soap. The reason is it's super cheap. The ingredients are fine. And it's better than normal body wash from the zinc pyrithione. It treats and prevents skin infections.
