they just aren't that well written, and don't leaverage their concept to good effect. The best is probably the different story and drama cds. Oriko and wraith are hilariously bad and alright at certain points, and then you have slop like tart and kazumi.

Releasing too late I would guess. I thought Magia Records anime series wasn't that long ago but the second season came out back in 2021. We're like 4 years removed from when Madoka was on the air last. Not sure about the movies though.

Global was doomed. I still remember one of those sleazy localization companies ran that earlier Meduka gacha only to EoS the Global server immediately after running some major Whale-bait banners, and replied NO REFUNDS to all the people whose money they stole.
plus this madoka gacha is so brazenly just a Star Rail ripoff.

its objectively shit. not only is every gacha objectively shit because it uses mmo style drip feed gameplay logic, but the dungeon is on rails, so you cant even treat the game like a walking simulator. it's absolute trash and its not surprising that it flopped.

oh you mean the actual actual dungeon crawler. that one has bad gameplay but thats expected from most dungeon crawlers. I'm let down by the game basically not having a good story more than anything. but you can at least enjoy something unique, you get a first person view of the dungeons. you actually have to think about what you are doing some of the time. just dont expect anything crazy. its basically just a rehash of the anime.

My main problem is it’s poorly balanced and too hard at times. Those screaming mobs in the arc de triomphe witch labyrinth can stun lock you and the witch herself is way too fucking tanky
The Elsa Maria fight with Sayaka is straight up retarded and it’s obvious to me it wasn’t properly playtested, Sayaka’s soul gem darkens too fast and because the designers are retards who take everything every character says literally you do tickle damage when your gem is dark. Because of this you take damage at every mob so the only viable strategy is to free heal by walking between each fight. And then for the witch just get in front of her so Kyouko shows up and you can let Sayaka die and finally deal more than 0 damage with Kyouko
