you lie, even with fiber optic internet you still need several minutes to download the program (several gbs), the models (about 6 gbs each model, so if you want an anime model and a realistic model, that's about 12 gbs), the style loras, artists loras, specific character loras (about 200mbs each lora, so if you want to try 3 styles, with 3 artists loras, with 3 specific obscure character loras, that's about 1gb), setting up the extensions (there's some must-have ones like adetailer even if you're generating on relatively modern models). So no, its not a 3 minutes wait the first time you set things up.

Can assume that Dall-E works a lot easier and that's why you see it used. From what I experienced, the new NovelAi is superb but costs money + is overpriced per month.
