I don't care until they manage to create a monitor that I can look at any viewing angle, high color range, high refresh rate, high resolution and no blur

Too bad 1080p CRTs only go up to 90hz while 1080p TN goes up to 900hz now (2000hz panels already in R&D and probable release in 2yrs)

Isn't QD-OLED the panel type that has lifted blacks if you have even a little bit of ambient lighting?

>>240hz doesn't look even close to 60hz CRT
the "any gaming monitor" in that comparison are 240hz IPS

not even 240hz TN, let alone 240hz TN with strobing/BFI, and ESPECIALLY not 900hz TN with strobing/BFI (which annihilates all other monitors in motion clarity)

you aren't understanding that motion clarity is mostly framerate, the "blur" you see in that pic is persistence (which is also important but in no universe does a low persistence 60hz monitor look less blurry than a mid persistence 900hz one)

Have fun trying to do retarded amounts of gymnastics to make your "premium" tn panel match a generic oled in response times

>>716254649
retarded CRTroon
The blurbusters test means absolute fucking nothing and hasn't meant anything for 20 years since the way every modern screen works doesn't involve doing anywhere near close to CRT level overkill
Response times don't matter beyond matching the refresh rates of the screen

these comparisons are retarded, they prove that the blacks in the OLED photo look nice on LED screens
what you see on the right is what you get on LED, what you see on the left is just what cameras see which no one gives a shit because you're not going to be looking at your screens through cameras

Inevitable burn in due to low pixel lifespan
Fucked up pixel layout
Aggressive ABL that ruins HDR

physics, need anode and cathode which requires physical separation in distance, >>716264396
you could try to pipe this output to another direction and thereby have a "flat" screen but it be wider but why do that when other tech is cheaper better and easier and it'd have a lot of design problems
Anonymous No.716266626 [Report]

>Now show bfi oled retard
OLED is self-emissive meaning you cannot do BFI at 2x the native refresh rate. BFI *halves* the refresh rate of an OLED monitor. hence why they only support BFI/strobing at 60hz or 120hz while TN panels strobe at 600hz+
