I don't know if it's coincidental or if based Hideo made Lรฉa walk around sucking on a biberon for fun.

One of my favorite moments starting Death Stranding up on the PS4 for the first time was when I read the canteen entry and discovered this tidbit of information. Sam doesn't even get to enjoy the taste of crisp clean mountain water sourced from the peaks he roams, it is Bridges that forces him to drink MONSTERโ„ข at all times while on the job. This factoid learned very early on made the bleakness of their post-stranding world very apparent to me. So yeah, the MONSTER being taken out of the game kinda damages that absurd world fact.

I bought some monster because I dumped like 200 hours into this game and wanted to be more immersed.
Then I found out monster fucking sucks and I never got it again

>first time I get 'PORTER I'm delighted
>"In your face!" XD
>third time I start pounding them again I get Sam drunk and he ends up terrorizing the private bunk
>no more PORTER for Sam

I thought they took it away from him because of his behavior but it was more than likely he drank his entire case of beer that night. Glad you could get more though when the next farm order came in.

Sam's got Dooms, he sometimes would end up on the beach, even when he was just a kid. Him visiting with the lady in red happened back then as well as after he was reunited with his mom before she passed away. If you're unsure, remember that Death Stranding has literal naming conventions.

>BE DILIGENT
>BE HONEST
>BE GENEROUS
>BRIDGE ENERGY

To be honest I like the new graphic fine, but it's the absurdity that I miss. I guess that wasn't Hideo's intention, it was maybe just an advertisement after all, but I thought it added to the public mind-fuck when this initially came out. Just goes to show you that early adopters really got the best experience out of the original. I wonder if that will hold true for DS2.

I bout'd thrice and was glad that there was more added to the experience along the way all the way, yet I cherish my first playthrough on PS4. I'm probably going to go back and play the PS5 DCut because I didn't finish it in time for the sequel to drop.
