I'm playing for the first time and keep getting stuck at around lv20. every quest is getting too hard to solo and killing random mobs for lvling up is getting way too grindy.

I don't understand how anyone could hate Darkshore, especially compared to the human 10-20 zones. Darkshore has a fuck ton of quests all arranged in a straight line north-south with the main town hub just about in the middle, and the quests generally progress neatly in level as you get further from the town. Routing is easy and you can knock out a bunch of quests each time you venture out of town and return for fat loads of xp. Meanwhile in Westfall you run out of quests before long and have to either head into deadmines underleveled or fucking run back and forth between westfall, stormwind, and redridge to fill the gap. Loch Modan is decent but human zones while having cool plots and atmosphere are the worst slog to actually level through.

Wow is just an RPG tarkov wipe. 2 months, max level, raid log, quit and new server fresh or version. You people have brain damage. This isn't how an MMO is supposed to be.

Hunter and warlock are very easy solo questers since you get a pet that can tank shit for you.
Mage is also very good at soloing but requires you really know how to kite, bit more skill intensive.
Traditionally the only class that really struggles being on it's own is warrior, but with victory rush and TBC talents I'm not even sure if that applies here either.

I just really like how the stealth system is implemented. It's essentially an entire mechanic made for rogues, and druids get to dip their toes in a little. pickpocketing everything for a steady stream of economy-agnostic gold, lockpicking for random chests for myself and the ability to make chump change unlocking peoples lockboxes, distract to fuck with rival faction, cold blood for those hilarious clothy instakills out in the world, sap to further fuck with people. Druids can't do ANY of that, but yes, they are infinitely more useful for clearing content. That is my dilemma.

Yep, totally agree on dealing with druids in world pvp. BUT, they are a different kind of annoyance. Druids have staying power and ranged CC, rogues are more like glass cannons and that's what I like about em. Even just tossing out a single distract is enough to fuck with another player, have them start running or jumping around, spamming AOEs. That's what I like about rogue, the ability to fuck with other players whilst they have no recourse against you. Druids only get one surprise attack from stealth and that's it. Rogues can produce far more mischief than druids, druids are just annoying.

I played PvE server 1 time and it was the most boring shit EVER. Battlegrounds are the worst form of PvP in wow. WoW PvP is all about stealing devilsaurs and resource nodes or chasing enemy players away from farm spots. With that said, I cant see this server being any good for PvP with them taking away the hybrid tax. Hybrids are already borderline OP in classic WoW PvP, the only thing that somewhat counters them is the ability of some classes to burst them down before they can out heal the damage, which is something they struggle to do until the very endgame, but the endgame in epoch will have PvP reduced damage stat. Its fucked no matter how you look at it

The frenchies solved this problem 10 years ago. Nostalrius had 15k concurrent players, how does Epoch only support 5k?

They are bending over backwards to appease healers/hybrids and rogues are getting some token changes im not sure will help them catch up to the other classes. Rogues get an ability to switch combo points between targets. No idea if that will cost energy or what. Compare this to paladins who are going to get a damage buff to be competative damage dealers and most of their damage will be from holy damage which on their gear will be damage AND healing. so paladins will be doing DPS level DPS while having healing gear on. My 2 most played classes are paladin and rogues. I wouldnt worry about rogues in PvP on this, paladins are going to be absolutely broken.

I have minor concerns about the pvp server dying since turtle wows pvp server "died" but turtle wows pvp server came out years after the established pve server so the people willing to start fresh was slim. It was super populated for awhile but then SoD came out and it basically killed the server over night.
At least with epoch the pve and pvp servers launch at the same time so I think it won't be nearly as dead as turtles even though its 2k+ right now and we're not getting anything like a SoD to take away the player base for awhile.

For me, it's the mob density and the fucking pools of swamp everywhere. Every inch of this piece of shit zone is unfun to be in, especially the seawater. The zone's aesthetics are also an eyesore and visibility is shit because of all the trees. Desolace is a DREAM compared to Dustwallow. I guess Theramore Isle is cool if you're Alliance though. I legitimately can't find anything else nice to say about the zone.

STV is absolutely fine on PVE realms. I'd even go as far as saying it's "good", the Nesingwary quests are productive. Badlands does kind of suck due to mob density in some areas, but it's not that bad. It's probably a bottom five zone though, for sure.
