Deltarune sucks however
It may be popular, but its honestly bad in quality when it comes to storytelling

That speaks more to the quality of his first game. Once you have an audience, you can make whatever and there will be people who say it's a masterpiece. But Deltarune is way worse than Undertale, and I'm not even a huge Undertale fan but I can see that

it's kind of relevant on one board on 4chan, a site that itself is struggling for relevance. i haven't seen much in the way of deltarune memes, nothing close to the likes of chapter 2. relevancy is a stupid thing to care about, but if you do care about it then you have to acknowledge deltarune basically fell off a cliff in that aspect
