The skill tree looks pretty interesting and you can unlock various skills that you can then slot into whatever weapon you're using. Each weapon also has their own innate skill so weapons aren't just skins. Still at the beginning but I'm getting the hang of it.
Major criticism right now besides the awful optimization is the lack of stagger on some enemies and how finnicky the dodge can be. It is very easy to dodge yourself into a corner and accidentally get trapped.
