In ZZZ that's encouraged, too, because quite often the first mindscape alone adds some pretty impressive buffs to the character. Maxing them out is a huge upgrade.
Like Miyabi is damn good, but if you can go to M2 she's much better. M6 and she's comically absurd. No whale is passing that up for most characters.
