It's kind of a fine balance you need to maintain. Too little, and you might feel kind of by the numbers, maybe even polite, and too much and you wind up sounding like a kid who learned a new word. I'm not stickler for heavy swearing exactly, but I think there's more power behind a well-timed swear if you can hold back until the right moment.
Like for example, that Netflix Castlevania show? I have problems with its story, but the way the characters cuss and swear at each other just comes off forced and juvenile. Can I see the characters swearing? Sure, but hearing Death swear like a brat felt really off.
