BF since 2 has been jumping around like a spastic in the open to make the enemy miss, then diving prone so your gun is actually accurate. Despite the soldiers moving a lot more sluggishly, BF has always been about erratic movement because of the shit hit detection.
COD (besides 1) has always had accurate shooting and faster kills, so outside of the most recent ones with omni-sliding or whatever having awful animation interpolation and console kids not having the camera speed to keep up, COD is a lot more paced and cover focused as you're generally dead to rights in the open despite higher overall movement speed.
