Wario Land 3 never clicked for me, since I had played 4 already. Not a big fan of the 2/3 style.
Crystal also has issues but is iconic enough to overcome most of them.

Oracle of Ages leaves. Link's Awakening is probably the best 2d zelda game so it stays. Crystal is peak Pokémon so that stays too, and Wario 3 is fucking good and people who say otherwise should kill themselves

Pokemon Crystal obviously, it's literally just a rehash of Gold and Silver. And beyond that, even though the Pokemon games have gameplay that's good for relaxing, the other three are way more engaging and challenging.

Wario Land 3. I haven't played Crystal since that franchise is a mess, but if it's any good at all it's better than WL3. If there's anything to find beyond the same 4 color coded keys every area it wins by default

It's funny how Wario got some of the best puzzle platformers ever yet his character is about being hasty and impulsive. I wonder if the disconnect prevents people from seeing what the Land games are actually about.

Wario, no contest. The whole franchise is one of the most insufferably overrated "I grew up exclusively on Nintendo and started a YouTube channel about it" series in history, second only to Banjo-Kazooie.

Mario taken to the extreme. But then Land Vb added some more puzzles, and Land 2, 3, and 4 went crazy with it. I have no clue who thought "Let's make Tom's suffering from Tom and Jerry into a meaningful game mechanic" but that man was a genius.

Interesting take, I'd remove Wario Land 3. But I actually loved 1 and 2 + VB Wario and 4/5. Wario Land had padding with the back tracking. And being able to only get one treasure and being kicked out of the stage was annoying.

I like how they explicitly styled him as a playable boss character, huge and dealing contact damage. 2 took it even further by making him an unkillable boss and the fact they managed a coherent, fun platformer you can't even lose still blows my mind. Giving the bosses ring out attacks was brilliant.

3 was boring as shit though. If you depower Wario that just makes him a bad Mario
