I recently played re4 remake and It's unfair that people treat og ashley as the worst when she wasn't terrible to be with. The remake did butcher the difficulty in dealing with ashley in a way I find pathetic.
God forbid, you actually work your ass off to protect the innocent girl.
In terms of character I kinda like the OG Ashley a bit better since she's a bit more adorable for my taste.
I actually thought that they removed the fist bump from the remake but the reason why I never noticed because I always kept ashley in a "loose" formation.
I never did have trouble keeping ashley safe in the remake at all. The only time ashley is in danger was in the 1st 30 minutes you spend with her and nothing after that.
